STEM Summer Camp: Programming, Digital Arts, Science, Robotics & Engineering

Too much fun to call it summer school …

but so much more than camp

Is your child curious about coding? Do they like to play Minecraft? Have they ever gotten to use a 3D printer?

They might not realize it, but these are all STEM tracks and they all require skills they will need to be successful in the future.

Our students love our camp offerings so much, we would never want to spoil the fun and tell them that it is more like summer school then camp.

Programs here are personalized, experiential, and fun. Kids learn best when they’re doing something they want to, so we use their innate curiosity and creativity as well as interesting projects and tools to fully engage their minds. They love being here and you will love the real life skills they are developing to thrive in school and beyond.

Summer Camp STEM Tracks

Engineering and Robotics Robotics & Engineering

Robotics & Engineering is a hands-on-track, where students of all ages design and build robots. This dynamic track allows other STEM subjects to come to life in an approachable, tangible, and fun way!

Students will see how simple math concepts affect how a robot responds to its environment, observe and experiment how different materials affect their robot, and develop and input code to make the robot respond.

Each group will learn robotics and engineering concepts tailored to their grade and skill level. They will create realworld products and prototypes that they will demonstrate at the end of camp.


Science will always seek explanations for what goes on in the the world and test those explanations against evidence; however, processes and methods are evolving. In our hands-on science summer camps we incorporate cutting edge technology allowing students to hone their problem solving skills while also becoming proficient with Google Earth, motion sensors, virtual reality, and rovers.

Workshops and labs are composed of interactive science projects and experiments that challenge their creativity and imagination. Students will work individually and in teams to conduct their lab projects. Students learn to be creative, critical, and organized thinkers, and problem solvers.

Game Design Game Design

Does summer vacation mean too much screen time in your house? Take your child’s love of playing video games and turn it into an incredible learning opportunity. While our instructors and programs make creating a video game a reality for your student, it cannot be done without learning a lot along the way. We will be teaching your child visual design skills, 2D and 3D graphics, computer animation and computer programming to make it come to life. Students will leave having created Minecraft Mods and their own games for PCs and mobile devices.

Digital Arts Digital Arts

Kids love imagining and creating using digital devices, and educators love the skills they learn while they are playing. Research shows that many of the 21st century skills we want our students to have for both the classroom and the workplace are enhanced by practicing the creative process involving innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking,

This track includes cutting edge projects such as graphic design, 3D animation and modeling, 3D printing, digital filmmaking and photography. Students work individually and in teams to design and create their own digital art, 2D and 3D animations, short films and videos.

Programming and App Development Programming

Programming is basic literacy in the digital world. Just as languages open up the ability to communicate with worlds of people, programming gives children the ability to create technologies that impact those around them. Our students are growing up in a world filled b with digital devices, and our reliance on technology will only increase. We focus on teaching our students the logic and science behind the technology, so they can understand and control it.

In this track, Primary-grade students learn basic programming concepts and apply their coding skills by using circuits and robots. Students in higher grades become software developers as they learn to code and design for the web. They design, build, and publish their own mobile apps and websites.
